Ménage à Trois Launches Two New Reds

The trendy wine brand Ménage à Trois has launched two new wines: Luscious Pinot Noir 2017 and Lavish Merlot 2016.

Ménage à Trois is best known for their success in the affordable California red blend category. The new releases play at a similar price point: Luscious Pinot Noir retails for a suggested price of $14 per 750-ml. bottle, while Lavish Merlot is $12.

Ménage à Trois Luscious Pinot Noir is a darker take on the style, the company says. Flavors include dark cherry and juicy raspberry, with vanilla and a note of mocha. The blend is 76% pinot noir, 13% petite sirah, 6% syrah and 5% zinfandel. Sourced grapes came from cool climate vineyards in California’s Central Coast, North Coast and warmer inland sites in Lodi.

Ménage à Trois Lavish Merlot is an “over-the-top expression” of Merlot, the company says, with ripe blueberry and black plum flavors, accented by mocha notes. The blend is 81% merlot, 8% cabernet sauvignon, 6% petite sirah and 5% petit verdot. Sourced fruit originated from vineyards in California’s Monterey, Lodi-Delta and North Coast appellations.

Both wines are 13.8% ABV, and available now nationwide.
