Louis Pommery Brut Rosé

Louis Pommery Brut Rosé

Champagne Pommery has introduced a new sparkling rosé, Louis Pommery Brut Rosé.

The coolness of the Pacific Ocean and the heat of the hinterland of the California vineyards are met with French tradition in this wine. Louis Pommery Brut Rosé features aromas of red berries with hints of citrus fruit, such as pomelos, the company says, “all wrapped in a pastry cocoon.”

The grapes are selected across California’s vineyards by Thierry Gasco, former Champagne Pommery cellar master for 25 years. Made with 76% chardonnay grapes and 24% pinot noir, this brut rosé is created according to the methode champenoise, with fermentation in the bottle and aging on the lees.

Louis Pommery California Brut Rosé is ideal as an aperitif, a summertime starter or with fresh seafood.

In order to preserve all of its fruity characteristics, and in alignment with Pommery’s signature style, this cuvée is made with very low sugar dosage, placing it in the Extra-Brut category.
