The high-rye barrels provides stone fruit, black pepper and nutmeg notes, the company reports. The high-corn barrels bring butterscotch, coffee and citrus notes.
As is custom for the brand, Barrell Bourbon Batch 033 comes bottled at cask strength, 116.6 proof.
The suggested retail price is $90 per 750-ml. bottle.
