Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut, the latest addition to Valdo’s portfolio, has arrived in the U.S.

This Prosecco Superiore is the first of Valdo’s offerings launched under their newly forged partnership with C. Mondavi & Family (CMF). The strategic partnership between these two entities began in 2023.

“The launch of the new Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut represents our commitment to share top-quality bubbles,” says Pierluigi Bolla, Valdo Chairman. “It serves as a testament of our dedication to the Valdobbiadene region, and our interest in strengthening our brand awareness in the US market as a leading producer of Superiore.”

The Superiore DOCG, made up of 90% glera grapes and 10% chardonnay grapes, is created using the Martinotti-Charmat method, undergoing controlled temperature fermentation at 16-18°C. It then ages for 5 months on the lees in an autoclave, resulting in a straw yellow color with bright floral notes, the company says, plus a fine, lengthy perlage.

Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut is available for a suggested retail price of $20 per 750-ml. bottle.
