A Halloween tradition continues at Bacardi as the company this week revealed their 2023 glow-in-the-dark rum bottle.
Accompanying this annual fall campaign this year are two new digital shorts that lean into classic horror movie tropes to spotlight the brand’s official Halloween cocktails: The Zombie and Blood Moon, and the return of the limited-edition glow-in-the-dark bottle.
Directed by Emily Elizabeth Thompson, each short channels the spirit of the holiday with a how-to on creating The Zombie and Blood Moon.
Every bottle of the 2023 glow-in-the-dark release features the iconic Bacardi bat joined by several glowing companions. This seasonal hits shelves in October for a suggested retail price of $13.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
The digital shorts will be accompanied by static visual assets highlighting the bottle and cocktail recipes. Bacardi has also created a Terrifyingly Good Halloween Playlist, available on Spotify, and will launch a custom Snapchat lens that allows anyone to view their face made up as various Halloween characters inspired by the cocktails.
