As beer companies continue to innovate for younger LDA drinkers, Molson Coors has introduced Happy Thursday, a line of spiked refreshers inspired by the preferences of 21-26-year-old consumers.

This new release is designed as easy drinking and flavorful, 4.4% ABV and bubble-free.

“We’ve been seeing and hearing directly from the 21-26-year-old crowd that they don’t want carbonation,” explains Jamie Wideman, Vice President of Innovation at Molson Coors. “So, we’ve taken everything that the newest legal drinking age consumers love — smooth, flavorful, bubble-free refreshers — and made them spiked, putting us at the forefront of a whole new category of alcoholic beverages. With Happy Thursday, it doesn’t matter what day it is, the weekend starts with the first sip.”

Flavor profiles include (with company-provided tasting notes): 

  • Mango Passionfruit: Bright and juicy mango with a twist of passionfruit and a pop of sweetness
  • Black Cherry: Nostalgic black cherry, a balance of sweet and tart
  • Strawberry: Juicy strawberry that is both sweet and tart, with a clean finish
  • Pineapple Starfruit: Fresh, ripe pineapple with tropical notes

Happy Thursday arrives shelves in March 2024.
