Major League Pickleball and The Botanist Islay Dry Gin have partnered to announce an exciting new multi-year agreement marking the league’s first Official Gin Partnership. This partnership pairs The Botanist, a high-end gin, with Major League Pickleball, the preeminent professional team pickleball league featuring nearly 100 of the world’s best players participating in America’s fastest-growing sport.

The exclusive sponsorship will feature brand activations, sampling and courtside cocktails from The Botanist at upcoming MLP events. The partnership kicks off with the league’s next event, MLP Dallas – hosted at Brookhaven Country Club – from November 2-5. Attendees can look forward to enjoying The Botanist’s delicate, balanced and complex flavor while taking in the exciting action of the leading professional pickleball league.

Building on Strategic Partnerships

“As we move toward the next exciting phase for MLP, we are committed to adding strong partners to build with us,” said MLP Chief Operating Officer Bruce Popko. “The Botanist is dedicated and discerning in supporting the sports community and our partnership illustrates MLP’s growing footprint in the professional sports landscape.”

“We are thrilled to announce that The Botanist is now the Official Gin Partner of Major League Pickleball. The game of pickleball is quickly gaining popularity amongst Americans who love to explore innovative things and set new trends. We’re excited to introduce the complex, delicate taste of The Botanist to the MLP community and invite them to try our unique spirit.” said Nicolas Beckers, CEO & President, Rémy Cointreau Americas.

The Botanist’s exclusive partnership with MLP continues the brand’s investment in pickleball, joining an ongoing collaboration with racquet sports community Break the Love.

Founded by the ambitious craftspeople and experts at Bruichladdich Distillery Company Ltd., The Botanist was created with a mission to be change-makers in the spirits industry. Its distillers looked beyond the boundaries and expectations of gin to create a complex yet balanced dry spirit that represents Islay, the Scottish island where the spirit is crafted. The Botanist comes from one of the few distilleries in the world to be B Corp certified and leads with a focus on community.
