Bruichladdich Bere Barley is out with its 2013 vintage.
Distilled from the ancient barley varietal, Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2013 has the hardy character of the grain itself evident alongside fruit and floral notes, the company says.
The spirit matures in American oak barrels, on Islay, by the shores of Lochindaal.
Designed with sustainability at the forefront, Bere Barley 2013 is available in Bruichladdich’s new proprietary bottle made of recycled glass content. The brand has eliminated “unnecessary secondary packaging,” it says.
The suggested retail price is $139.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
