Ruffino has announced its newest offering: Ruffino Sparkling Rosé.
One of the first Italian sparkling rosé wines in the U.S., Ruffino Sparkling Rosé has a suggested retail price of $14.99 per 750-ml. bottle. It will be available nationally in May.
“We’ve seen tremendous momentum within the Italian Sparkling Wine and Imported Rosé categories and Ruffino Sparkling Rosé brings consumers an in-demand wine from an authentic Italian brand,” said Scott Ehrlich, Ruffino’s Global Marketing Director, in a press release. “Ruffino Sparkling Rosé responds to consumers’ excitement surrounding these two hot wine trends.”
Ruffino Sparkling Rosé is created in an extra-dry style, and comprised of predominantly Prosecco (Glera) grapes from the vineyards within the Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto regions of Northeastern Italy.
Ruffino Sparkling Rosé is a pink hue with aromatic notes of strawberry, and hints of rose petals. On the palate, this wine has crisp acidity and “elegant” bubbles, the company says, offering flavors of red berries and white fruits through the finish.
Ruffino Sparkling Rosé is 11% alcohol ABV.
