Boondocks American Whiskey

Royal Wine Corporation has introduced Boondocks American Whiskey. It is available in both 95 Proof and Cask Strength 127 Proof.

screen-shot-2016-10-13-at-4-22-47-pmAged for 11 years in American white oak barrel in Kentucky, Boondocks American Whiskey 95 Proof is made from corn, rye and malt. Aromas include fruitiness and exotic spices, the company says, along with subtler aromatic characteristics like toasted marshmallow oak barrel notes. Mouthfeel is creamy and buttery, the company reports, and overall the whiskey is spicy and warm and is sweet like cotton candy.

Boondocks American Whiskey Cask Strength 127 Proof has aromas of rich caramel and vanilla, the company says. Flavors include fall spices.

Boondocks’ packaging is reminiscent of a pocket flask, the company says, with a slight indent on the front and back to allow for easy handling. The brand’s print logo includes the signature of the brand’s creator, industry veteran Dave Scheurich.

Boondocks American Whiskey 95 Proof has a suggested retail price of $39.99 per 750-ml. bottle, while the Cask Strength 127 Proof retails for $59.99 per 750-ml. bottle. Both are currently available in limited release in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York and Texas through Royal Wine Corporation.
